Jake Lemon of Michigan Trout Unlimited and the Forest Service will be installing 40 temperature sensors on the Big South Branch of the PM. The goal of the study is to determine the distribution of coldwater habitat in the watershed. TU is asking for 3 – 4 volunteers to help install and remove the sensors one day in the spring (late May or early June) and one day in the fall (late September or early October). Contact Jake Lemon at jlemon@tu.org if you are interested.
